Catherine Rudie & Chris Brambley - “Your Favourite Time of Year” developed around a beat from a BOSS Dr Rhythm DR-110 borrowed by Catherine from her next door neighbour, 3 flats and 2 cities ago, never to be returned, and a piano part created by Chris on an old instrument passed on from a friend. The song is about moving… and never quite settling enough to feel at home. Recorded live in their living room, the song might mark a new, more grounded time for them. Both solo artists originally based in London, they now find themselves living in Glasgow and collaborating on several new musical projects together. Chris will be releasing his own music later next year, Catherine’s debut album can be found here: catherinerudie.bandcamp.com/releases
