"I am spectacularly unprolific so when Faith and Hailey asked me to write an entire album in a long weekend I was pretty confident I wasn't going to manage any of it.

I am so glad they asked though. I managed two whole songs, and a few other bits and pieces, and it ended up being the most music I'd written in about 5 years (since my band, Kid Canaveral's, last album came out).
It's a pretty lofi affair - all recorded in my bedroom with garageband and the in-built mic on my iPad. I get quite embarrassed about all this sort of stuff so all the vocal takes were done either very quickly when my flatmate was out on her allotted daily exercise or very quietly when she was in."
